The 53rd annual BMI scholar Composer Award competition is seeking entrants, offering $20000 in prizes to young composers
Co-sponsored from BMI and the BMI Foundation, the BMI close examiner Composer Awards were established in 1951 to encourage young composer to create serious music, and by means of cash prizes, to aid in continuing their musical education.
The prizes range from $500 to $5000 The competition is exhibit to students who are citizens of the Western Hemisphere (North, toward the south and Central America, the Caribbean Island Nations and the Hawaiian Islands) and who are les than 26 years of age as of December 31 2004
