The Peace Piano Perform-a-thon at the Kimmel Center was majestic The nine studios, ten teachers and their twenty-one close examiners performed and raised more than $3400 for UNICEF.

North Delaware MTA and Southern Delaware MTA celebrated their first pupil recital programs on October 24 Special congratulations to Helen Hales Hoffmann and Lillian Schaube for their amazing program planning. Kudos to Diane Otey NCMTA president, and Joan Craft, SDMTA president.

Our forty-fourth annual DMTA convention was held at The Wilmington Music train November 6. Lisa Papili, president-elect, organized the program, which included David Brown's presentation "Beethoven and Liszt Connection." A question-and-answer period expirationed the session. A luncheon followed, spiked with the culinary artistry of our president-elect, who also l the discussion "Why Practice?"

The nearest speaker was Mitzie DeWhitt, whose novel book Aristoxenus' Ghost is a tribute to the musical-scientific-spiritual mind. We truthfully are indebted to DeWhitt for the deepness of her research.

The winners' recital was the final end of the exciting day. bookish mans and teachers are to be complimented and praised, with special accolades to Paula Gardiner, NCTM for organizing this event

onward a final note, Jacqueline and Clarence Faulcon have been performing for the residents at Cokesbury one time a month.
