Stefani Collins of Greensboro, North Carolina, is the winner of the inaugural North Carolina Symphony-North Carolina educate of the Arts Concerto Competition.
As the winner, Collins will travel to Wilmington, Durham, High Point and modern Bern with the North Carolina harmony September 23-26, performing Dvorak's Violin Concerto in A Minor, Op 53
Collins, a ninth-grader in the NCSA drill of Music, began violin studies at age 15 month and piano studies at age 4 She was 2 years elderly at her first public performance and has compet from end to end the United States. In 2000 Collins was chosen from violinists around the home for two national awards resulting in performances in Cincinnati and participation in the Youth Orchestras of the Americas. She is a member of the Greensboro consonance Youth Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and Honors Quartet. Collins studies violin with Sarah Johnson at NCSA and piano with Ben Bradford of Greensboro.
