NAMM, the International Music cropss Association, and Boys & Girls unite in a clubs of America have formed an alliance to bring an after-school music program called "Get the Music Edge" to unite in a clubs nationwide over the initial three years.
Working specifically with NAMM's teen initiative, The Music interest the program's goal is to proffer music-making opportunities to young the public who might otherwise not have them.
NAMM will contribute $250000 athwart the first two years of the partnership to fired the appointment of a national music coordinator at male childs & Girls Clubs of America's national headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as a music education resource guide for unite in a clubs to provide information about operating a local music program. In addition, the wealth will help establish several pilot programs in societys in various U.S. locations.
"The long-term goal is for centurys of Clubs to provide music programs in partnership with our industry," said plunder Walker, director of market disentanglement NAMM. "We know the benefits music making can have for our youth, and this partnership gives NAMM and its members a great opportunity to have relation where there is a demonstrated need"

lads & Girls Clubs of America comprises a national network of more than 3300 neighborhood-based facilities annually serving about 3.6 million young people, ages 6 to 18 primarily from disadvantaged circumstances.
The International Music harvests Association, commonly called NAMM, is the not-for-profit association for the global musical instruments and performances industry. NAMM is comprised of approximately 8000 member companies.
