The Eastern Division is featuring the state of Delaware for this article. Delaware State President Jacqueline Faulcon is sharing this information regarding this small, nevertheless dynamic, state's activities.
The Delaware convention was held at the Wilmington Music exercise October 31-November 1, 2003. Featured artists included the Cab Calloway Senior High Jazz Choir, Delaware State University Choir and the University Singers from fane University's Esther Boyer College of Music.
A panel discussion, "Sharing the Singer," was coordinated by the agency of MTNA Immediate Past President R Wayne Gibson, NCTM Panelists included Melanie DeMent NCTM C Lawler Roger Martin Lassman, Elayne Soltz Penn NCTM and Joanne Ward.
A workshop clinic, "The Art of Accompanying," was facilitated by way of Benjamin Whitten, NCTM, with the assistance of Lotus Cheng Brown Richard Gangwisch, Ovidiu Marinescu, Mable Morrison, NCTM and Dawn Steven A four-hand piano performance was given by the agency of David Brown and Lotus Cheng Brown
The DSMTA received tributes, proclamations and literal senses from Governor Minner, Lt. Governor Carney, State Senator Margaret Rose Henry and Wilmington city Mayor Baker. JW Pepper and Son of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, were honored for their mighty support of the celebration.
Delaware is ostentatious its founder, Mildred M. Gaddis, NCTM is being honored as an MTNA FOUNDATION peer at the 2004 MTNA National colloquy in Kansas City, Missouri.
Eastern Division members will fit at the National Conference Sunday, March 28 5:00-6:00 PM in the Muehlebach Trianon E place at the Marriott Downtown Hotel
