Barry O'Neal newly was appointed director of devise music for Carl Fischer.


Barry O'Neal newly was appointed director of devise music for Carl Fischer, where he formerly was director of promotion.

In his recent position, O'Neal is responsible for all aspects of the progression in a continuously ascending gradation of the concert music catalog at Carl Fischer, including repertoire rentals, performance product and composer promotion.

O'Neal earned a B.A. order in music composition from Boston University. He began his career in music publishing in 1964 with Associated Music Publishers (AMP), becoming educational director and manager of AMP after G Schirmer acquired the company. He rose to the horizontal of vice president of Schirmer. O'Neal joined Carl Fischer in 1985

Alfred R Fredel lately was appointed marketing manager for Carl Fischer, in charge of all marketing efforts including pres relations, ad placement, pamphlet development, direct mail and website management.

He gripe [i]or[/i] grips an M.B.A. degree with emphasis in media management from Metropolitan community of New York and an MM extent in vocal performance from the Manhattan drill of Music. Fredel has more than six years' experience in performing arts marketing and management and has been a music critic for The Audiophile Voice and also was a professional singer and voice teacher.
