In Louisiana the Alexandria music teachers freshly hosted Maurice Hinson, NCTM, and Catherine Rollin, NCTM The Lafayette association did a "Present Prepare, Perfect" program prepared through six outstanding local teachers. The teachers demonstrated each of the three P with scholars at different levels. The teachers be delighted withed seeing their colleagues teach and petitioned similar future presentations.

The Northwest Arkansas MTA held a recital and master class with French pianist Yve Henry. NAMTA is planning ahead for this spring, a master class with Jura Margulis, a Baroque Festival and "A Musical Treasure Hunt: Teaching Intermediate Literature," with Scott Carrell.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma, MTA held couple workshops last fall: in September Peggy Otwell, keyboard editor for Hal Leonard, not absented sessions on "French Sound and designation for the Elementary and Intermediate Student" and in October Martha Hilley, NCTM from the University of Texas at handed workshops on "Theory, the Vital Link" and "Your Computer and the Web."



Last November Texas teachers attended recitals, workshops and master classes not past nor futureed by Nelita True, NCTM, at Abilene Christian University and Maurice Hinson, NCTM at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, followed at receptions held by the local associations.
