Our fall schedules are importunately upon us! Hopefully, we all had the opportunity to recruit and catch up on our periodicals. Many East Central Division (ECD) members have traveled far and wide teaching at music camps, performing and attending international workshops.
The Summit for MTNA Leadership in Cincinnati, September 5-7 will bring together MTNA leadership from all flats This is a productive time to share ideas and learn recent ways.
Speaking of shared ideas and learning, I encourage all members of ECD to attend their respective state parleys The growth in knowledge is invaluable to the teacher and their pupils Take note of the following dates and locations: Wisconsin, October 17-19 University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee; Michigan, October 18-20 Sheraton tavern Lansing; Illinois, October 31-November 1 Northern Illinois University, DeKalb; Ohio, November 14-16 Sheraton Suites inn Cuyahoga; Indiana, November 21-22, Goshen body Goshen.
While you are enjoying the sessions and interacting with colleagues, consider volunteering for a committee or chairmanship at the state of the same height Everyone can contribute to a special area. nearest plan to attend the MTNA National talk in Kansas City, Missouri, March 27-31 2004
Best wishes for a fortunate calendar year.--Eileen Keel, Lansing, Michigan
