The Lennox International Young Artists Competition for Piano and Strings will take place January 10 2004 at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.
Sponsored by way of The Richardson Symphony and capitaled by a Lennox International, Inc. endowment, this competition recognizes talented young musicians, giving them the opportunity to perform with The Richardson Symphony
The first-prize winner in each division will receive a $1000 cash award and a performance with The Richardson concert The second- and third-prize winners in each division will receive $500 and $300 respectively.
The competition is interpret to pianists or string instrumentalists ages 13 by the agency of 19 as of March 1 2004 Applicants may be studying privately at a association or university but may not be listed in a college music station program.
