The Missouri Southern International Piano Competition (MSIPC) will take place at Missouri Southern State society in Joplin.The Missouri Southern International Piano Competition (MSIPC) will take place at Missouri Southern State society in Joplin, Missouri, April 19-24 2004 There are prizewinners in sum of two units divisions: Senior, ages 18 to 30 and Junior, age 17 and younger. The Senior Division first-place winner will receive $10000 plus a Carnegie Recital Hall first appearance and the Senior Division second- and third-place winners will receive $5000 and $3000 respectively. The Junior Division winners will receive $3000 for first place, $2000 for other and $1,500 for third place. All applications must be received according to the competition office before 5:00 PM forward Monday, January 5, 2004. A registration fief of $50 must accompany the application. An additional unconditional tenure of $50 is required when contestants are picked as semifinalists.
