I trustful longing you had a successful spring and are enjoying the summer month I would like to thank everyone who attended the Southern Division meeting at the MTNA National conversation in Salt Lake City. I think we had destinys of fun (and some convenient food as well). This is individual of the few opportunities for members to hear about specific programs in the various states that make up our division. I would force onward everyone to start planning to attend the parley next year, and especially to make a place for our meeting. I think you would be quite interested in the many of the best quality programs in your division, and perhaps might win a few ideas to take abiding-place with you.

I know we all want to congratulate Southern Division members Paul Stewart, NCTM (MTNA president-elect) and Ben Caton, NCTM (secretary-treasurer) forward their election to national offices. We have drawn out known their talents in our division and are happy they will now be using these skills as national officers. We also want to congratulate Wayne Gibson, NCTM onward a successful tenure as MTNA president. The programs he has impose in place will serve our organization well for many years.
